Went to the Against Me show. The support bands were great and the venue looked like an old haunted castle, feeling pretty mellow.
I asked a girl, Laura, sitting on a couch alone if I could take the seat next to her and began talking. It wasnapos;t long until she mentioned she was good friends with the guys in Against Me and then after some more talking she became determined for me to meet them.
After the show which was absolutely amazing (even better because I didnapos;t break my arm this time) with no barrier and the crowd rushing onto the stage, we went upstairs and backstage where she introduced me to their stalker then Tomapos;s wife and then some famous band Iapos;ve never heard of and eventually the boys themselves. They were all really friendly and I donapos;t think my Australian accent has ever been fussed over so much but Andrew was the lovliest (nothing to do with him buying me a beer I swear). Frustated that I couldnapos;t come to the pub with them after due to age restraints but still, what an amazing way to end a brilliant holiday.
Just thought Iapos;d get that down.
